Instead of going through the usual time-consuming paper-based procedure, you can register for a cantonal user account directly at the counter of a selected cantonal or communal institution.
It makes no difference whether you are at home in the canton of Zug or elsewhere (i.e. outside the canton).
A valid identity document (passport or identity card) and a completed and signed application form are all you need.
Companies can only apply in writing.
